Nintendo DS, Coming At You In Three Dimensions

Nintendo has something big up their sleeve, and that thing happens to be a new DS. “Oh. Not another one!” you might be thinking. But this one is different: this one is in 3D. Even more interesting is that you will not be required to wear those odd 3D glasses!

As interesting as this is, there is a definite lack of information about this system. There is no potential release date, no hints of a price, and no comment on how this thing is supposed to engage people with a convincing 3D gaming experience from such a small device and screen.

What we do know, however, is that if Nintendo can pull this off, it will be yet another fascinating advance in the gaming industry — as if getting out of the couch and moving to play games wasn’t enough, now we have the chance to see objects fly right past us too.
