Now that the developer tools and unlocked beta’s are out in the wild, we’re starting to see more details of the intriguingly un-iPhone-like Windows Phone 7 platform.
While less polished and elegant that iPhone OS, Windows Phone 7 is bold and blocky, offering a refreshing reprieve from the glossy, rounded corners of the iPhone wannabe world.
This latest video is a demonstration of the Associated Press app which showcases the platform’s screen transitions and 3D capability.
The catch is that this is all being demonstrated inside an emulator. It’s one thing to have a cool interface run smoothly and impressively on a computer where RAM and CPU power are freely available, quite another to cram it all into a device running only 256mb of RAM.
