So this, allegedly, is a case for the next iPad. There’s not much to say – it’s a case. Who’s to say it’s even legit? But assuming it is, it looks like we got that camera we were after, so we can awkwardly take pictures with a giant slab. Have you ever snapped a photograph with a book? You’re about to.
The speaker slot also seems much larger, and oddly enough, the design seems surprisingly… more curved. Personally, I thought the iPhone 4 offered evidence that Apple was moving to a far more flat, sexy, industrial look, but it would seem Jobs wants to take it back to the 1998 iMac in terms of design. How hipster, Steve.
In any case, we’ll find out just how legit this is in April, when everyone buys the iPad all over again.
Looks a little bit more square too…? Not sure how much information we can glean from a thumbnail of a case on Alibaba, but maybe an Apple lackey will accidentally leave an iPad 2 on barstool in California for us to examine for a couple months. (Greatest marketing ploy in history!)
