Assassins Creed Revelations culminates a legendary gaming series

One of the most exciting unveils at E3 this year was Assassins Creed Revelations. The culminating entry into the series has been buzzing for over 2 months now, but the release of the 2nd trailer is still stunning and drawing in the views.

The familiar hero Ezio Auditore is older and more experienced, allowing for more abilities and additional weapons. He also gets to “walk in the footsteps” of Altaïr, the legendary assassin who holds a key to the future in his memories.

Multiplayer is back and all of the previous modes will be available as well as new modes. The game will take us through the Animus, a DNA-rendering technology that allows people to relive others’ pasts, into the heart of the Ottoman Empire in Constantinople on November 15th.

It could very well be a ploy. Nothing better than ending a series, then relaunching it a year or two later. Bigger buzz than just the 4th, 5th, etc. How many last Halos have there been?
