Social searcher makes searching for people on Facebook easy

Searching on Facebook can be a nightmare when looking for a brand or especially when searching for a person with a popular name. You could spend hours trying to find that recognizable face in a profile picture with your fingers crossed that they actually use a picture of themselves as an avatar. If not, you are spent clicking on profiles hoping they haven’t set their privacy settings to “friends only” so you can creep their page and see if it is the person you are looking to reconnect with on Facebook.

As addicting as this process can be for when you finally do find that person adrenaline pumps through your veins and it almost feels what we figure it would be like to win Olympic gold. You most certainly feel as though you won and your detective work has paid off, yet the time spent is irredeemable and then you have to wait for them to accept your friend request… sigh.

Let’s eliminate all the hefty work with searching on Facebook for people or brands and in fact, let’s not even be signed in when we are searching for them.  An open Facebook search known as, Social Searcher, allows you to search for people and brands on Facebook quickly and easily.

In a matter of seconds you are able to not only find the person on the web (which is super useful if you want to follow them on other social sites they have created, or see what else they have been up to.) It also enables you to see images that are pulled from Facebook which loads promptly, much faster than Facebook itself.

As an example, I used my name which turns out to be very popular and searched using Facebook, I had to continuously go through several pages before I found my profile and I was signed in. After signing out, I tried searching my name via Social Searcher and in seconds I showed up, even my profile picture was on the very first page.

So if you are looking to reconnect with an old friend or perhaps rekindle a relationship with an old flame, or if you are searching to learn more about a local business or brand, Social Searcher makes it easy to do and in less time.

On a Side Note: Social Searcher recently released a Twitter search and Google+ search service as well as Social Leaks, which is a collection of privacy concerns across various social networks. You can also use Social Searcher on your mobile phone or add plugin’s to your browsers.

*Note* – Social Searcher is not affiliated with Facebook, Twitter or Google+.
