Xbox One shows HDMI video compatibility with PlayStation 4

Can’t we just all get along? Okay, so that’s not the message that Microsoft is sending to gamers eager to get their hands on one of the two big console releases coming up, but it’s not too far off. They even mentioned that if someone wanted to play Killzone (a PlayStation-only game) while playing Ryse, though could. Very thoughtful, Microsoft. Very thoughtful indeed.

The Xbox One’s HDMI pass-through port will support “any HDMI device”, including the PlayStation 4, Microsoft confirmed during its presentation at the Tokyo Game Show.

During the presentation, Xbox senior director of product management and planning Albert Panello received a question regarding the Xbox One’s ability to support video feed from the PlayStation 4, which he did not respond to directly.

What do you think?
