Can AT&T beat Google at their own fiber game in Austin?

Make room, Google. You’re not the only one giving super high-speed internet to the good people of the world. AT&T thinks they have an answer, though the missing part of their answer is price.

AT&T wants to get a leg up on Google Fiber.

The company said on late Monday that it would launch its “GigaPower” super-fast home Internet service on December 1 in Austin, a city that Google has said it would deploy its own speedy Google Fiber service.
