Eric Schmidt believes government censorship will be wiped out within ten years

Eric Schmidt, Google’s executive chairman, said in a speech at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies that believes government censorship will be wiped out within ten years. He claims that “the solution to government surveillance is to encrypt everything”.

Google’s executive chairman Eric Schmidt is highly optimistic — he thinks that government censorship can be ended within a decade, Bloomberg reports.
