Amazon not stock physical copies of the Beyoncé album

She may have the fastest selling album in iTunes history, but not everyone is happy with Beyoncé’s success, and it’s not just limited to brick-and-mortar stores either. Responding to Beyoncé’s iTunes exclusive, Amazon has joined Target in announcing that it will not stock physical copies of the Beyoncé album.

Amazon is refusing to stock physical copies of Beyonce’s latest album after her decision to secretly release the album on iTunes this month. The online marketplace and the Target department chain were angry that the pop diva’s self-titled album was made available to one of their largest competitors for a week before other retailers.
