Microsoft is giving Windows users a 30-day trial for The New York Times app

Microsoft is offering all users of Windows 8, Windows RT, and Windows Phone 8 devices a free, 30-day trial subcription for The New York Times app. The free subscription will mean unlimited access to all of the Times‘ news articles and updates, as well as the paper’s photo and video sections.

Microsoft is rolling out a new perk for users of devices running a number of its Windows builds. TechNet on Friday pointed out that the software giant is now offering a free 30-day trial subscription for The New York Times app. The offer is available to all Windows users that can download apps through either the Windows Store or the Windows Phone Store.
