Twitter reportedly working on letting users edit their tweets

Ever published a tweet that you wish you had taken time to edit before putting it out there on the internet? Unfortunately as it stands, there is no way to edit a tweet, save for actually deleting the entire thing, but word has it that Twitter is currently working on an edit function that will allow users to edit their tweets “slightly”, and only once.

Is Twitter working on a way to enable users to edit their Tweets once they’re out in the ether? The Desk’s Matthew Keys says it’s true. Sources tell him that this feature has been in the works for months and will allow the author to make “slight changes” to the contents of the Tweet only once.

What do you think?
