Care.com sets IPO share range between $14 and $16

Care.com, a Waltham, Massachusetts-based caregiver services marketplace, on Friday said it expects shares in its planned initial public offering to fetch between $14 and $16 a piece. With 5.35 million shares planned for sale, the IPO could raise up to $85.6 million. Care.com would have a total market value of $475.9 million if shares sell at the upper end of the range.

Care.com has built a successful business on making this process easier. Today the company set the range for its upcoming initial public offering at $14 to $16 a share. It plans to sell 5.35 million shares. The online marketplace connects care providers with people who need care. The company expressed its intent to go public in December 2013, and said it aims to raise $80 million.
