CRM startup picks up $2.6 million in seed funding and another startup

Linko, a mobile enterprise startup operating out of Berlin, San Francisco and Helsinki, has just picked up two rather useful things: $2.6 million in seed funding, and another Berlin-based startup called Localstream. Both should help Linko flesh out its customer relationship management (CRM) product, which is all about automatically pulling data from various other apps the salesperson might have on her mobile device. This provides contextual information for a searchable social feed, and cuts down on time-consuming manual entry.

Mobile customer relationship management (CRM) solution Linko today announced a $2.6 million seed funding round and its acquisition of fellow Berlin startup Localstream. Led by angel investors, Linko will use the funding to build its developer team, improve the product and increase customer delivery capability. Founded in January 2013, Linko provides a fully-automated CRM service that collects sales activity data from smartphones and tablets. CEO Mikko Alasaarela told us that Linko’s USP is its ease of use and tailoring to the end user – sales employees.
