Instagram bug causes recent photos to be hidden

Instagram says it is fixing a bug that has hidden users’ photos on its mobile app from the past several days. The Facebook-owned photo-sharing app said on Twitter Wednesday that it is working on fixing a temporary glitch that is showing photos from several days ago. It did not say how long it would take to fix the problem. Instagram has 200 million users who share an average of 60 million photos per day.

Over the past few days, Instagram users have been having problems seeing all of their uploaded photos. On Wednesday the Facebook owned company stated it is working on a fix for what it said was a temporary glitch.  The problem doesn’t seem to affect the Web version of the app, and it’s unclear how many users were hit by the bug. The AP reported that the app, which sees 60 million photos shared every day, was only showing photos from several days ago rather than the most recent. While Instagram acknowledged the glitch, a timeline for a fix wasn’t mentioned.
