64-bit Snapdragon 810 to make its debut in the Vega Secret Note handset

Back in 2013, Pantech announced the Vega Secret Note handset, which by all accounts appeared to be a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The handset is powerful in its own right, but it looks like with the Vega Note’s successor, Pantech could be stepping things up. According to reports out of South Korea, it has been suggested that Pantech could be one of the first few Android OEMs to come to the market with a device packing Qualcomm’s 64-bit chipset, the Snapdragon 810. 

After a noticeable period of time in which we have’t really talked much about Pantech’s plans, earlier yesterday we had the opportunity to report that the highly anticipated Vega Iron 2 has been made official. The handset in question is expected to become the company’s flagship phone by the end of May, and boy, does it have a lot to offer! But without derailing too much from the topic at hand, moments ago we’ve come across fresh reports suggesting that Pantech has big plans for the sequel to its Secret Note phablet.
