The VeryKool s505 is InfoSonics’ most high-end smartphone to date

InfoSonics Corporation has announced the launch of its new VeryKool s505 smartphone, the most dynamic mobile handset the company has offered to date. The s505, nicknamed the “Spark,” has an ultra high-end design. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor and is equipped with the Android 4.2 operating system. The phone will be upgradable to Android 4.4 in the near future via a partnership with Red Bend Software, the market leader in mobile software management.

Infosonics might not necessarily be a company that many are familiar with, especially when it comes to smartphones and tablets. However the San Diego-based company has released several smartphones and tablets in the market already, and they have recently announced their latest product in the form of the verykool S505 “Spark” Android smartphone. Yes, we know the name could be less cheesy, but what are you going to do, right? That being said, Infosonics is marketing their latest product as “unique, beautifully designed, feature packed and provide exceptional value,” and at $199 unlocked, we have to agree with at least part of their statement. We have to say that the Spark handset’s design reminds us of the Samsung Galaxy S4, except that in this case, it is missing the home button. As far as hardware specs are concerned, the phone will feature a 5-inch 1280×720 HD display. It will be powered by a quad-core chipset by MediaTek clocked at 1.3GHz and will come with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, a 2,000mAh battery, WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G connectivity (no LTE, sorry).
