Android users beating iOS users in terms of mobile porn consumption

Google and Apple never hesitate to brag about things that their platforms supposedly do better than one another but we have a hard time imagining Google bragging about beating iOS in this particular metric. Ubergizmo directs our attention to a new report from Pornhub showing that more porn traffic now comes from Android phones than from iPhones. Android phones accounted for nearly half of all porn traffic detected by Pornhub, while iPhones followed close behind at just over 40% of traffic. Predictably, the also-rans in the mobile platform wars, BlackBerry and Windows Phone, accounted for a meager portion of all porn traffic and posted percentages in the low single digits.

When it comes to viewing adult videos, it makes sense for it to be viewed on the computer because presumably your computer will have a larger screen and maybe better speakers. However at the same time we guess there are some people out there who don’t mind viewing it on their mobile devices. Well have you ever wondered which platform might have a higher preference for viewing porn on their phones or tablets? Well according to a recent infographic released by Pornhub, it turns out that Android devices are in the majority, although in all fairness it seems that iOS devices aren’t too far behind. As you can see in the infographic above, Android devices take up the largest slice of the pie at 48.34%. iOS comes in second at 40.6%, with Windows Phone at 2.3% and BlackBerry devices at 1.81%. Interestingly enough the infographic has a separate section for Samsung at 1.19%. Given that Samsung’s handsets and devices are mostly Android, we’re not sure what is that supposed to mean.
