Huawei Glory 6 Plus to feature duo-cameras on the back

China is adding some really good high-end smartphones to the gadgets pool every year. 2014 seems to be even more packed with the country’s name in headlines than witnessed in previous years. After some great devices from Xiaomi and other tech companies, we are now looking at a top notch smartphone from Huawei. While Huawei is an old name in the gadget industry, it is now trying to win over Xiaomi in the region with a device packed with power specs. Huawei will price its upcoming high-end device for a huge $537 which may be just a little too much considering it competition. However, it is yet to see if Huawei does introduce some enticing features in its coming Huawei Glory 6 Plus.

Huawei has another smartphone up its sleeve that will likely land next month, a little bit late to make the most of the Christmas shoppers, but time enough for late buyers. The device is apparently called the Huawei Glory 6 Plus, a high end addition to the company’s range that will cost $537 and will launch on December 16th. As is usually the case with Huawei, the specs are pretty good. The handset has a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD screen, an octa-core Kirin 925 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz and coupled with 3GB of RAM, and Android 4.4 KitKat on board. Interestingly, there are dual camera lenses on the rear according to reports, a pair of 8 megapixel shooters. This probably means the Glory 6 Plus will have some kind of 3D depth imagine capabilities. The data was taken from a benchmark test and seems to be legit, and photos from a TEENA certification seem to prove the dual cameras as accurate. Huawei has fallen behind Xiaomi in the Chinese market and this device may be able to claw back some market share, although the price seems a bit hit compared to Xiamoi?s offerings.
