HTC may release a Windows 10 variant of its next flagship smartphone

It’s clear that HTC is expecting 2015 to be an excellent year, particularly with the highly anticipated launch of the One (M9) and One (M9) Plus that are expected to be announced at MWC 2015 next month. While both of these devices will undoubtedly be running on Android, many rumors claim that HTC will also be releasing Windows 10 variants of its flagships.

HTC believes that its 2015 line-up of products will be the best ever. The company’s first devices from the new line-up will be announced next month at MWC 2015, almost surely including the Android-based One (M9) and One (M9) Plus, aka Hima and Hima Ultra. But what about the rumored Windows Phone-based variant of the Hima? Well, according to @upleaks, this won’t be unveiled at MWC. @upleaks says that the Microsoft-endorsed HTC Hima / One (M9) will run Windows 10 – which was to be expected anyway. Since Windows 10 won’t be fully released before the summer, the handset will probably not be announced in the near future. It’s said that HTC’s current plan is to sell the new Wndows 10 smartphone only in the US.
