Vine now loads faster and has offline playback

Good news Vine users, starting today for iOS versions of the app and soon to come for Android versions, videos will now play much faster, consume less bandwidth, and will be able to be downloaded for offline playback.

Today Vine announced that videos will load faster in the iOS app and that you can now watch videos while offline. The updated app starts downloading your home feed, activity notifications and Explore section before you launch the app. The video service also introduced network caching with smaller video sizes for slower connections. The iOS version of the app was updated today with the Android version getting the quicker video-loading feature soon.
