Netflix has confirmed that it’s reviving Full House next year

It looks like it’s really happening, Netflix has confirmed that it has ordered 13 episodes of Fuller House, an official revival of the ever-popular sitcom that last aired two decades ago. The company has outlined the story and given a brief description of the characters to help build the hype for the return of the series, which I doubt many of Netflix’s younger viewers will even care about.

A Full House revival is waiting just around the bend. Just a few weeks after rumors began furiously swirling about Netflix’s big Tanner return, the streaming network on Monday night officially ordered 13 episodes of Fuller House, a multi-camera comedy set to star Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber, who played D.J. Tanner, Stephanie Tanner, and Kimmy Gibbler, respectively, in the original series. Billed as a “sequel,” the show will center on veterinarian and mom of two boys (“rebellious 12-year-old J.D. and neurotic 7-year-old Max”) D.J. Tanner-Fuller, who is pregnant, recently widowed, and living in San Francisco. Meanwhile, younger sister Stephanie (Sweetin) is an aspiring musician and best friend Kimmy (Barber) is living life as a single mom to a “feisty” teenage daughter named Ramona. The pair move in to help D.J. raise her family as she prepares for her new addition.
