Bethesda continues to build hype with short Fallout 4 teasers

We’re less then two months away from the Fallout 4 launch, and Bethesda is stoking the hype flames with bits and pieces of information every few days that come in the form of short explanation videos. The most recent video explains the new character system in Fallout 4, and how Bethesda has done away with the skill tree that we’ve come to know and replaced it with a system that focuses primarily on SPECIAL points. The perk menu was also shown off for the first time, with 270 different options being available to the player. 

Fallout 4 is going to offer a lot of customization options for your avatar in the American wasteland. In addition to there being no level cap, meaning it is possible to unlock every single one, the choices you can make in the game are just astounding in number. For the first time, Bethesda has shown off the perk menu for Fallout 4, and you just have to see how expansive it is to believe. Each of the seven basic stats are there: Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility and Luck, and each of them has ten levels of abilities to choose from. From these 70 options, you can choose to balance your character into a Jack of All Trades master of nothing, or like myself, you can min-max him into your perfect build. A sniper who can talk his way out of anything. That’s the only route to go for me. Strength is overrated, so long as you have the muscle to carry a heavy rifle on your back. I also love how Bethesda animated the menu. Each of the Vault Boy’s animations are violent or hilarious in some way. Fallout 4 launches on Nov. 10 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
