Deus Ex now has an official release date and pre-order bonuses

Aside from a handful of pixel graphic indie titles on the PC, there’s a rather disappointing shortage of new cyberpunk video games at the moment, but that’s going to change this February. That’s when Eidos Montreal will be releasing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and as if a new installment for the world’s most popular cyberpunk video game series wasn’t enough, there’s also going to be an “Augment your Pre-order” bonus. This bonus not only allows you to choose your own pre-order bonus, it lets you gain extra bonuses based on how many other people have pre-ordered the game.

Eidos Montreal has announced that the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided release date has been set for February 23, 2016. The game will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. In addition, and in keeping with the player choice themes of the game, Eidos Montreal has revealed the “Augment your Pre-order” bonus, allowing fans to pick what they want as a pre-order bonus and gain even more extras as more people pre-order the title. The Collector’s Edition for the game was also revealed, which includes all the in-game content and rewards from “Augment Your Pre-order,” as well as physical items, selected based on the thousands of votes players cast. You can check all of this out below! Deus Ex: Mankind Divided directly follows the aftermath of the Aug Incident, a day when mechanically augmented citizens all over the world were stripped of control over their minds and bodies, resulting in the deaths of millions of innocents. The year is now 2029, and the golden era of augmentations is over. Mechanically augmented humans have been deemed outcasts and segregated from the rest of society. Crime and acts of terror serve as a thin veil to cover up an overarching conspiracy aimed at controlling the future of mankind…
