hands

Unless you graduated from college in the last 5 years, chances are the job titles have changed significantly.  A decade ago there was no such thing as a “social media manager” or a “digital content strategist.”  Now just about every company has people doing those jobs, whether they work under those titles or not.  Sure, there were web developers a decade ago, but were there UX and mobile developers?  A lot has changed.

Along with those changes comes some confusion about whether these jobs have value.  Surely you can get an unpaid intern to post a few things on your company’s facebook page.  What’s the worst that can happen?  If you don’t know the answer to that question, you really need to do your homework.

Start with this interactive infographic all about the various pay scales for different digital creative marketers in different job markets.  You might be surprised not only that these people are getting paid to do these jobs, but also just how much they are getting paid.  If you had to hire a Digital Marketing Manager tomorrow, how much would you offer that person in order to be competitive?  Learn all about it from this interactive infographic!
