Apple today added the ability for customers to send apps in iTunes as gifts. The gas station need no longer be the only option for the forgetful party attendee, since you can now purchase apps through the app store and then print or email them as a gift certificate. The option appears in the dropdown menu in the purchasing options on both the online and iTunes store.
