The HTC EVO 4G goes on sale today, earning the honor of becoming America’s first 4G smartphone. Running the Android 2.1 platform with an impressive set of features including both front-facing and an 8 megapixel back-facing camera, GPS, a 1GHz CPU and the ability to output to 720p HD. 3D Gaming will be coming to your door a lot sooner than we all expected. NVidia and Asus have announced three new 3D computers this week, with a game-ready laptop adding another dimension to the gaming world in Taipei. Asus has unveiled its 3D lineup with the G51Jx-EE 3D gaming laptop, as well as the Eee Top ET2400 and CD5390 tower based PC. All three of these machines will ship with 120Hz displays, active shutter 3D glasses, and discrete graphics processors from NVidia. Dell has made its entry into the tablet market official today and we can now expect to see the 3G enabled smartphone and tablet in the UK as early as June and later this summer in the US. Newly-leaked images and video show us the next-generation iPod touch will host a camera. Apple had originally been expected to field a camera in the iPod touch when it upgraded that device in September 2009. The introduction was preceded by a wave of leaked images showing a camera in place. Fast forward to release and the camera wasn’t included in the upgrade, though eagle-eyed users spotted a space on the motherboard where it could have been.
