The iPad may be grabbing headlines everywhere today – it’s hard to find anyone talking about something else – but Apple’s made a few enemies on its way here, and now Nokia plans its own iPad killer, set to ship this fall. Asus isn’t planning on settling for Apple to take over the tablet market without a fight — the PC maker believes that they can compete by differentiating themselves from the competition. Asus is planning on creating at least two tablet devices, and considering Google’s Chrome OS and Android platforms and Microsoft’s Windows 7 platform to run on them. People looking to pick up their iPads in a couple days just got some good news. Apple has made its camera connection kit available for pre-order. Coming in at a staggering $29, the connection kit consists of two plastic devices which insert into your iPad’s dock port. One device has a SD card reader on the end and the other has a USB capture device for people wanting to plug their cameras in directly.
