Twitter has announced a new plan to become as pervasive as the Web itself, opening up its @anywhere tech which aims to integrate Twitter into the very fabric of the ‘Net. @anywhere will let people using websites to follow new users or share media directly from the page. It is similar to Facebook Connect in that users will be able to log into websites using their Twitter ID. “Imagine being able to follow a New York Times journalist directly from her byline, tweet about a video without leaving YouTube, and discover new Twitter accounts while visiting the Yahoo home page,” Twitter said on its blog….
