Today, you can buy a flash drive with enough memory to store more than a room full of floppy discs. We all know that memory compared to the days before flash drives was much more expensive per megabyte (remember when we used to store memory by the kilobyte?), but even as recently as a decade ago, memory using the same basic technology was so much more expensive.
