The world is getting smaller, but not fast enough for Nokia. The Finnish tech giant has been working on small scale GPS technology it calls ‘Location Indoors’. While it may seem like a step backwards, the tech is actually quite innovative. Exhibitions and conferences are one possible focus for this invention. The video above demos one possible use, with four people being tracked around the expo floor. The technology isn’t new, but it looks like the tech may have found widespread acceptance and might be upon us shortly.
