Assuming the rumors are right, we could be getting closer to Apple to making an official iPhone 6 announcement. As it stands, the rumors claim that we can look forward to a 4.7-inch model and a 5.5-inch model and while most of us probably think that the 5.5-inch model is basically the iPhone 6 with a larger display, it seems that leaked components are suggesting otherwise. The folks at Nowhereelse.fr have recently gotten their hands on alleged leaked components belonging to the iPhone 6. The components in question are the home button and Touch ID component that is expected to be part of the iPhone 6’s build.

A new set of images of the the iPhone 6 home button flex cable have been leaked to Nowherelse.fr that show some of the changes coming to Apple’s new smartphones. You could nearly build your own iPhone 6 with all the leaked components we’ve seen the last few weeks, but based on these alleged home button cables, the design of the new iPhone 6 won’t just be different from the iPhone 5s, but the the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6s will also be very different from each other. The iPhone 5s home button cable was designed to loop around at a 180° angle, but if the leaked parts above are genuine, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will have a straight home button cable, while the 5.5-inch iPhablet home button cable has a slight angle in the middle. This suggests that the internal layouts will be very different for both models, and they could also come with different features. We can’t verify the authenticity of the parts, but the identification numbers on the to do match up with other part leaks, though the difference in design could just be from different design phases of the iPhone 6. The site also got its hands on an induction flex cable for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 that shows Apple may not connect it to the same flexible cable as the photo sensor like it did on the iPhone 5s.
