When celebrities die, we often get the disappointing surge of dirt and mud that shows that they may not have been as admirable as we once thought. It happened to Steve Jobs who was called many names we can’t mention in this blog. It happened in bulk to Michael Jackson, though he was having much of that mud slung while he was still alive; some of the mud was, indeed, fresh.
For Neil Armstrong who died earlier this week, the stories coming out are different. He seems to have been pretty consistent with the way he handled the media, his activities, and his life in general. The man was a hero in more ways than one that go well beyond walking on the moon.
