Mark Zuckerberg believes that the U.S. government screwed up when it comes to the NSA’s surveillance techniques and hopes that the government will become more transparent. Information leaked by Edward Snowden stated that the government had direct access to Facebook’s servers, but the company completely denied that the NSA had that access and that it only complied with legal subpoenas for information.
Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg thinks the U.S. government screwed up when it comes to the NSA’s surveillance techniques. “I think the government really blew it on this one. And I honestly think that they’re continuing to blow it in some ways and I hope that they become more transparent in that part of it,” said Zuckerberg in an episode of This Week on ABC today.
