Times Internet’s Gaana.com has launched its upgraded Gaana 4.0 mobile app, integrating music videos and lyrics into its popular music streaming service. With a host of new features, music videos and lyrics are integrated seamlessly within the application. The all new Gaana.com app will enable a richer music experience for listeners. This is in line with the company’s launch of skippable and non-skippable video ads to users on its platform.

Gaana, the Bollywood and Western music streaming service focused on India, has gotten a significant update for its iOS and Android apps, which now both include music videos and lyrics for songs. Version 4.0 of the app also includes discounted download rates for subscribers to Gaana+, its premium subscription service that is available as one, three, six and 12 month plans. Music videos aren’t available for all of the three million songs on Gaana, but those that are supported include a grey camera icon. The app has also undergone a slight redesign to bring the favorite and download categories to a more visible position to enable easier access for Gaana’s nine million monthly active users.
