Ever the innovator, Jack White has come up with a new way to engage his fans with his music: 3D videos. Working with Jaunt and Google, he announced today that three live songs are now available to be viewed “in stunning cinematic virtual reality” after building a DIY 3D viewer for your Android-based phone. Using the Google Cardboard VR app, along with the a few physical purchases, fans can place their phone inside the cardboard face-piece and with the lenses arranged correctly, check out a handful of live performances that White recorded on his most recent tour.
