I guess Daniel Ek, the founder and CEO of Spotify, wasn’t very impressed by Apple’s big Apple Music announcement today, as he took to Twitter to share his rather concise reaction to the announcement: “Oh ok.” He eventually deleted the tweet, for whatever reason, but not before a bunch of screenshots were taken. He also had a few words to say about Apple’s Flipboard-esque news app for iOS.

Spotify’s founder and CEO isn’t all that impressed with Apple Music. As Tim Cook and Jimmy Iovine revealed Apple’s music streaming service on Monday, Spotify’s Daniel Ek, whose streaming service is a direct competitor to Apple’s, tweeted a two-word reaction that summed up his feels: “Oh ok.” He deleted the tweet — but not before we got a screenshot. Earlier in the keynote, Ek retweeted a tweet that criticized Apple’s new News app. It read: “Apple grasping for straws presenting their native news app ‘look at the typography’ ‘we have a fun animation’. Flipboard, anyone?” When reached, a Spotify spokesperson refused to comment.  Apple Music is a new app on the iPhone that appears to combine the Music and iTunes apps. Apple Music will launch on June 30 in more than 100 countries. It’ll be available on Apple devices — including the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Macs and the Apple TV — but it’ll also be available on Android phones as well.
