One of the most respected and well-known leakers out there at the moment has posted some official press renders of the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, which are expected to be unveiled by Samsung at a special event next week, as well as a few details on the Note 5’s specs. While a bunch of images of the two phablets have surfaced over the past few months, the press renders that Evan Blass tweeted yesterday are the clearest ones to date.

Samsung is holding a special media event on Aug. 13 where it is expected to unveil two new premium smartphones, dubbed the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+. Although the South Korean technology giant has not provided any images of the upcoming devices, pictures of what are said to be the official press renders of the two new Samsung smartphones leaked online Friday. While many pictures purported to be of the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+ hit the Internet over the last few months, the new images posted by prolific leaker Evan Blass on Twitter are said to be the most accurate ones ever surfaced online. In a separate tweet, Blass also provided details of the specs of the Galaxy Note 5. According to him, the new handset will sport a 5.66-inch display with a screen resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The device could be powered by a quad-core Exynos 7420 CPU, with four cores clocking at 2.1Ghz and the other four at 1.5GHz.
