Xiaomi is taking its sweet time before unveiling the highly-anticipated Mi5, but with the end of the year growing closer, the company won’t be able to wait much longer. In the meantime, there seems to be no shortage of rumors regarding the flagship smartphone, such as the one from earlier this week which claims that the device will be come with a Snapdragon 820. This will give Xiaomi a significant advantage over its competitors, all of which use the soon-to-be last-generation Snapdragon 810 or equivalent chipset for their flagships, and will give the Mi5 access to Qualcomm’s newest technology, such as Ultrasonic Fingerprint Recognition Technology.
