The ZUK Z2 will come with a Snapdragon 820 and a rotating camera

1 min read

The ZUK Z1 was definitely one of the lesser-known additions to this year’s high power, low price smartphone lineup. The reasons for this being that it was released later in the year, comes from an unknown Lenovo-backed brand, and isn’t quite as powerful as the Moto X Style or OnePlus 2. That being said, it’s still an excellent device, and ZUK has already started teasing its successor. Known as the ZUK Z2, the new smartphone will be significantly more high-end than its predecessor, with a Snapdragon 820, but won’t come with a camera on both sides. Instead, it will feature a rotating camera that can face both the front and the back.

ZUK, the new Lenovo backed brand in China has been doing well in the market with its ZUK Z1 flagship. Now, we are all looking forward revolutionary flagship smartphone dubbed ZUK Z2. The main highlight of the phone is reportedly the 360 degree rotating camera mounted on top of the display. This also means that ZUK Z2 must be having a single rotating camera and with this smartphone ZUK has completely overlooked the concept of secondary camera on a smartphone. Remember OPPO N3? In the recent times we haven’t seen smartphones with a rotating camera. So, it looks like ZUK is trying to take the concept of photography to the very next level. ZUK Z2 flaunts a dual side design metal and glass which looks stunning and extremely beautiful. If you look closely at the images you can easily see rounded corners around the frame which adds to the beauty of this smartphone. Though these leaked renders do no reveal anything about the size or resolution of the display but it is known as that it will be carved out of a 2.5D glass. Absence of front camera lends a more compact and slim profile to the smartphone.
