Financial analyst Yra Harris of Praxis believes that General Motors is on track to purchase Tesla Motors by the end of 2014. GM’s own electric vehicle, the Volt, has suffered disappointing sales this year while Tesla’s Model S has received near universal acclaim, it could offer GM a great stepping stone to dominating the luxury EV field.
