This generation of consoles has been lackluster to say the least, but the sales numbers haven’t reflected that. In fact, the PlayStation 4 is selling even faster than its predecessors, and the Xbox One isn’t doing too bad either, but that success is going to be short lived due to the weaknesses that both consoles launched with. There are several rumors that, because of this, Microsoft and Sony are planning to launch upgraded versions of their respective consoles in the near future, and while we have nothing in the way of official information, Microsoft’s decision to drop the Xbox One’s price yet again lends weight to the rumors that a replacement is on the way.
