Rumors of Apple’s return to 4-inch smartphones have been popping up for some time, but it looks like mid-2016 will be when we actually see the device launch. It’s being referred to as the iPhone 6C, but there’s a good chance that Apple won’t actually use that name for the product. Whereas the iPhone 5C was plastic and abnormally budget-friendly for an Apple device, the iPhone 6C will be all-metal and will be significantly more high-end. That being said, Apple is still making a few sacrifices to ensure that the device is comparatively cheap, with the price range expected to be between $400 and $500.
