I don’t think a single thing about The Witcher 3 has popped up on the Internet that hasn’t made me want to spend hours playing it, and this latest gameplay trailer is no exception. While we’ve had plenty of demos and cinematic trailers, this is one of the first real gameplay trailers that we’ve had for the game, and it basically just describes why the game is going to be one of the best ever made.

I love trailers like this one. The first of this explanatory style that I can remember came in the drum up to the release of Red Dead Redemption. The game’s world, systems and concepts are explained over gameplay examples, and you really get a sense for what you’re about to step into when the given title launches. Now, CD Projekt RED has done one for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and it has me incredibly pumped for the game. I mean, I was always excited for it after my time with The Witcher 2 and all the press demos I’ve seen, but none of that had me quite as eager to get into the game and pour real time into exploration, combat and discovery. I’m ready to sink myself into The Witcher 3, and I imagine a lot of other series fans will agree.
