If you do a search in Google for “Southwest Airlines”, there’s probably a pretty huge chance that you want to go to Southwest Airlines’ website. Google is making that even more obvious than just the first search result and they’re making a little money on it as well.

Google has confirmed that they are testing incredibly large banner ads for specific branded queries.

@SynrgyHQ posted an image on Twitter showing for the query [southwest airlines a huge “sponsored” ad at the top of the search results.
