MMD, the technology company and brand license partner for Philips Monitors, announced today the new 239C4QHWAB 23-inch Philips Miracast display with connectivity based on the Miracast standard, enabling users to stream mobile content wirelessly from Android devices and other compatible hardware. The new monitor is a 16:9 device at 1920×1080 resolution. The display has support for 16.7 million colors, at a brightness of 250 cd/m2. Internal 3W speakers provide audio. Additionally, the monitor has support for HDMI and MHL wired connectivity standards. The new Philips 239C4QHWAB Miracast display is available now at a recommended retail price of £249 ($414). US availability is uncertain.
