T-Mobile adds some tweaks to its Simple Choice plans

T-Mobile in the United States has updated its Simple Choice price plans with a few changes. The amount of data available to customers on the carrier has both risen and fallen, depending on the tier of service, with all plans also gaining enhanced global data and text services in more countries, and the extra introduction of unlimited stateside international text messaging. The basic $50 plan includes unlimited talk and text as normal, as well as unlimited 2G data. The amount of LTE data allocated has doubled from 500MB to 1GB per month, with those paying an extra $10 having a 3GB allocation instead of 2.5GB. These additions come at a cost, with customers currently paying $20 extra per month seeing their unlimited LTE data dropped down to a 5GB allocation, though the amount allowable for tethering has increased from 2.5GB to 5GB. A new tier costing $30 extra per month offers the unlimited LTE data, also with a 5GB tethering allocation.
