A few months ago, Nokia officially announced the Nokia Lumia 635. Now we know that the handset will be making its way onto T-Mobile, but if you were thinking about picking it up for yourself from another carrier, you might be pleased to learn that AT&T has announced that they will be stocking the handset as well. Starting from the 25th of July, AT&T customers will be able to purchase the Nokia Lumia 635 from AT&T’s GoPhone where it will be priced at $99.99. For those unfamiliar, GoPhone is AT&T’s prepaid service, so if you wanted a postpaid experience, you will have to look elsewhere. The $99.99 price tag is for a limited time as the phone will be priced at $139.99 come 8th August.

Following close behind T-Mobile, AT&T announced Tuesday it will offer the Lumia 635 beginning July 25. AT&T customers can pick up the 4G LTE-ready budget handset on the carrier’s prepaid wireless service GoPhone for $99. Versions of the 4.5-inch handset sporting black and orange back covers can be picked up online or in AT&T stores on August 8 for $139. The Nokia Lumia 635 is the LTE-ready variant of the globally-released Lumia 630, which CNET reviewed in full. Both handsets feature a 4.5-inch display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a 5-megapixel camera, and a range of color choices. The handset also features a revamped Windows Phone 8.1 update that brings with it Microsoft’s new virtual assistant Cortana, a rival to Apple’s Siri and Google Now. T-Mobile and its sub-brand, MetroPCS, announced earlier this month that it would offer the vibrantly-colored handset to customers for less than $170 without a contract. Meanwhile, those who go with MetroPCS can pocket the handset for a promotional deal of $99. The three carriers announced their support for the Windows Phone 8.1 handset in April at Microsoft Build. The Lumia 630 and 635, along with the more high-end Lumia 930, are the first handsets to launch with the update to Windows Phone out of the box. Microsoft agreed to buy Nokia’s devices and services business in September for $7.2 billion. The deal closed in April.
