As more Windows users transition to Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, Microsoft’s app store is beginning to gain some traction. TechCrunch has shared Microsoft’s latest numbers, which show that the Windows Store delivered 1.7 million daily downloads in October, a 39% increase over the number of apps downloaded daily from the store in June.
