Global social media usage

Social media is a unifying force on the internet. It brings friends and families together. It allows for people to discover others of similar backgrounds and goals. It connects people around the world in ways that could barely be imagined a couple of decades ago.

Languages, cultures, and diversity of needs all have an effect on which social media sites are popular and how they are used. This infographic breaks down some of the differences and shows us that despite the multitude of ways that people around the world live their lives, there’s still a potential for commonality.
