Twitter today announced its first mobile developer conference. Called Twitter Flight, the event takes place on October 22 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. Tickets are priced at $140. Twitter says Flight is “built by developers, for developers.” The goal is to help mobile app creators build the best mobile apps with the social platform, regardless of whether they are using Java, Objective-C or Swift. The day will start off with a keynote from Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, followed by a series of technical sessions, and finish with what the company is describes as a “great happy hour where you can meet and mingle with some of our engineers.”
